Announcements

The next code release of Dark Descent is in testing and almost ready for release into the mud. Once loaded, the mud will go live to the general public. The new release is packed full of improvements and changes that will set us apart from other Vampire Wars muds. Some of these changes include new Clan Disciplines, fully customizable command and battle prompts, new help system designed to actually be helpful, plus more interesting ways to kill your fellow vampires for gain. A new Player League will also be instituted for good ol bragging rights, so don't fall behind.

For now, the old code is still running and we welcome you to join and get started. Change is coming sooner than you think...

Player League - Current and hourly updated stats on players in The Dark Descent. See how you stack up against your friends and enemies alike.

Forum - Register in the forum with your Dark Descent name and keep yourself updated; make suggestions, or comments about bugs, or improvements that you would like to see; join your clan forum and share secrets and tips with your brothers and sisters.

Links - Find links to useful sites, for mud clients, chat clients, or other vampire wars related info. Feel free to contact the admin with anything you feel is missing.

Dark Descent - An original story setting the mood for The Dark Descent. Contact an admin if you feel your story is better. If we agree, we will post it instead.

Newbie Help - Get your newb cap on and learn some basics for mudding in The Dark Descent. There are a list of basic commands, as well as a list of common directions to get you started. Don't be lost and confused. Take some time and learn it all, or you might lose your head.

Admin - Get to know your admin, and what their roll is in The Dark Descent. Each one is a very busy person, but will usually take time out of what they are doing to help a player in need. We do not have attitude problems here, so any respect you offer will be returned to you.
